- For dissimilar-steel joining, repair and buffer-layer applications when E312-16 is specified.
- 3/32-inch electrodes are 12 inches long; 1/8-inch electrodes are 14 inches long.
- Choose 0.5, 2 or 4.4 lb. Electrode count varies with diameter; packages are sold by weight.
- Use DC+ or a suitable AC machine as specified for the electrode, and follow the welding procedure for your base metal.
